I’m Cindy from Texas, a potter drawn to quiet and simple moments. I love solitude, but I also cherish people, the way we gather, share stories, and connect through small, everyday acts. My work balances quiet reflection with everyday use, creating handmade ceramics that enhance those connections.

I’m inspired by the moon hanging low in the night sky, the hush of late hours, and the slow return of light in the morning. I love being outside in the warm sun, feeling grounded in nature, and starting the day with a cup of coffee held in both hands. These moments shape the forms I make in my pottery studio, producing pieces meant to be touched, used, and returned to daily.

As my life slowed and my children moved on, the house grew quieter too. Rather than filling that space, I leaned into it. I turned the upstairs part of my home into my pottery studio and began working with clay as a way to focus, to listen, and to spend time with the kind of quiet and solitude that making pottery asks for.

Each piece begins as raw clay and is shaped by hand or on the potter’s wheel, embracing subtle imperfections, texture, and variation. No two are ever the same, just as no two moments are. I make pottery to be lived with, objects that hold warmth, intention, and quiet beauty.
